With the release of KEEP, we have also decided to make all software more easily available. By introducing The KinGuard Project, our goal is to make the software platform totally open and we hope that more people will contribute to this project.
The goal for The KinGuard Project is to have a software that can work on many platforms, without any need at all for third party involvement.
OpenProducts then uses this platform, with some modifications for authentication to backend servers, as a base for KEEP and OPI. Currently the only device supported is KEEP, but most software have already been re-written to work on other platforms, and OPI is the first in line, the software currently being tested.
